1.4. Collection of Image: When you use the Bergance mobile application ("App"), we collect personal and sensitive user data necessary to facilitate healthcare services. This includes:

  • Profile Picture: We collect profile pictures to put a face to the patient, which helps the provider identify the patient easily.

  • Wound Pictures: We may ask for wound pictures so that the provider can assess the wound remotely before seeing the patient in person or for virtual care purposes.

  • Driver License Image: We collect driver license images to confirm the identity of the patient.

2. How We Use Your Information:

2.1. We use your information to facilitate appointments, consultations, and other healthcare-related interactions between you and Providers.

2.2. Usage of Collected Image Information: The image information collected by Bergance may be used for profile identification and telehealth consultations.

  • Profile Identification: Profile pictures are used to identify patients within the Bergance platform and to personalize their user experience.

  • Telehealth Consultations: Images uploaded, including wound pictures, during telehealth consultations may be used by healthcare providers to assist in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

3.1. We share personal and healthcare information with an assigned provider to facilitate healthcare services.

3.2. Disclosure of Image Information: Bergance will not disclose your image information to third parties except with your explicit consent or as required by law.

After each visit with a Provider, their access to your detailed health history is limited for record purpose and continuity of care.

5.1. You can manage your personal information by accessing your account settings within the App.

5.2. You have the right to withdraw consent to the collection and processing of your personal information, which may limit your ability to use certain features of the App.
